Hereford Radiology Group is a partnership of UK-based consultant radiologists providing  affordable expert private MRI scans, CT (CAT) scans, isotope scans, ultrasound, facet injections and general radiology. We are conveniently located for Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Shropshire, W. Midlands, Gwent, Powys and, of course, Herefordshire but we welcome referrals from anywhere in the UK.  Our radiologists all hold NHS consultant posts and some also see patients in the local private hospital - The Wye Valley Nuffield Hospital. 

Our self-pay MRI and CT scan prices start at only £200 with no hidden extras and include a consultant radiologist report and a copy of the scan on CD. You do not have to be referred by a private doctor or continue your treatment as a private patient after the scan. We also welcome insured and medico-legal patients who will benefit from our high quality service and rapid results.

We accept referrals for MRI and ultrasound from any registered medical practitioners, chiropractors, osteopaths or physiotherapists. Requests for CT scanning must be from a medical practitioner - your GP or hospital doctor, either NHS or private.  No referral is required for aneurysm screening scans. 

We can usually carry out your scan within a few days and return a report to your doctor the next day.

We see our patients in the safe and modern surroundings of the Hereford County or Wye Valley Nuffield Hospitals and a share of income from private patients goes back to our local N.H.S hospital to help improve the service for all our patients.  We use a newly commissioned  1.5T GE MRI scanner and Toshiba Aquilion multislice CT scanner, both regularly maintained for safety and optimal performance and staffed by experienced specialist radiographers.

As a small independent provider of x-ray and imaging services Hereford Radiology Group offers you a bespoke individual service with personal advice from a radiologist always available by phone or email.
